Mattress Top Tufting

The mattress is hand-tufted to prevent it from losing its shape. This ensures that it will stay comfortable and supportive for years to come.

Mattress Side Zippers

The mattress features zippers on all sides, letting you adjust firmness by adding or removing filling for a personalized sleep experience.

The gap between the slats should be no wider than 2" / 5cm to ensure that the mattress is properly supported and doesn't sag in the middle.

CARE

Once a year, air out the mattress in the sun for day to refresh the wool.

Handling Wet Incidents:

  • Wool Filling; If the wool filling gets wet, remove it and gently hand wash it in lukewarm water. Let it air dry thoroughly in the sun before placing it back inside the mattress.
  • Cover: While the filling is drying, spot clean the wet cover.

FABRIC

We offer three all-natural fabric choices for your wool mattress:

  • 100% Virgin Wool – Naturally mildew-resistant, temperature-regulating, antimicrobial, and dust-mite repellent (OEKO-TEX Certified).
  • 100% Linen – The most durable and stain-resistant fabric, also resistant to mildew and dust mites (OEKO-TEX Certified).
  • 100% Organic Cotton – Soft and breathable, but slower to dry than wool or linen, making it more prone to mildew in humid conditions (GOTS Certified).

TUFTING

Tufting is a traditional technique that keeps the wool evenly distributed and prevents shifting over time.

Although the tufts secure the layers inside, you won’t feel them while sleeping. The soft outer layer ensures a smooth and comfortable surface for restful sleep.
