- Thicker options (7 inches) offer extra cushioning, perfect for side sleepers or those with a heavier build. Additionally, thicker mattresses pair well with platform or slatted frames, while thinner ones are versatile for various setups.
Please note: mattresses may arrive slightly thicker than listed. This is normal — the wool compresses gently with use and settles to its expected thickness within a few weeks. -

WHAT CERTIFICATIONS DOES YOUR WOOL MATTRESS HAVE?
Our wool mattress is made with zero chemical emissions — no flame retardants, no VOCs, and no off-gassing, period.
We use certified natural materials throughout the mattress:
- GOTS-certified wool (Global Organic Textile Standard), meeting the highest standards for organic farming and processing.
- GOTS-certified organic cotton, Oeko-Tex® certified linen, and Oeko-Tex® certified virgin wool fabric — all safe, breathable, and chemical-free.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOTS AND OEKO-TEX®?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the leading certification for organic textiles, ensuring that materials are organically grown, processed without harmful chemicals, and meet strict environmental and social criteria throughout the entire supply chain.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, on the other hand, certifies that a material has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for direct contact with skin, even if it’s not organic. It focuses more on the end-product safety rather than the farming or processing methods.
WHAT KIND OF BED BASE WORKS BEST WITH A WOOL MATTRESS?
A firm, flat surface provides the best support for a wool mattress — this includes platform beds, box springs, and adjustable bed bases. If you’re using a slatted base, make sure the slats are no more than 2" (5 cm) apart. Wider gaps may cause the mattress to sag over time and affect both comfort and durability.
CAN I USE THIS MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR?
Yes, our wool mattress can be used on the floor, though we recommend it only for short-term use. Since wool needs airflow to stay fresh, be sure to lift and air out the mattress regularly. For best results and longevity, a slatted wooden base is ideal.

Each mattress is handcrafted to order and takes approximately 7–10 business days to make. Standard free delivery typically takes an additional 1–3 weeks, depending on your location. If you need it sooner, we also offer an express delivery option at checkout for an additional cost.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?
If you need to cancel your order, please email us at contact@woollux.com with your order number as soon as possible. Since each mattress is made to order, cancellations are only possible before production begins.
IS WOOL FIRE RETARDANT?
Yes. Wool is naturally resistant to flames, which makes it a safe and practical material for mattresses and bedding.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM SIZES?

ARE CUSTOMS FEES OR TAXES INCLUDED?
Yes — all shipments are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning you won’t pay any customs fees or import taxes upon delivery. We handle everything.
